Historic building on the most charming street in La Roma

Our apartment is in the trendy Roma Norte neighborhood, right in the middle of the Roma/Condesa/Juárez cultural corredor. In a historic building completely restructured for earthquake safety in 2015, our apartment is located steps away from restaurants, shops, galleries, three parks, and public transportation. We are one floor up from the ground floor. The high ceilings and large windows let in lots of natural light. It features a master bedroom (king bed) with ensuite bathroom and double paned windows to block street noise, large closet with build in drawer system, and blackout shades. Second bedroom features large closet, built in bookshelf, and twin trundle bed (one wall is currently painted pink, but we are happy to paint it white for you). There is a second full bath, and an office with two desks that opens onto a balcony. Living room has a large L-shaped couch and additional seating, perfect for watching movies. Modern open concept dining room/kitchen has updated appliances, all the dishes, pans and implements you'll need, and a large marble dining table that can comfortably seat 8. Energy and water saving washer and dryer combo in a laundry closet, and a built in water filtration system in the kitchen so you won't have to worry about buying clean drinking water. Wood floors throughout, with tile in the bathrooms. You'll have exclusive use of the ground floor interior patio for al fresco dining and hanging out, with lush plants and shade. Our building has a large in-ground cistern and water pressurizer, an advantage in water-scarce Mexico City. Our neighborhood is full of gourmet restaurants and a wide variety of shops. Our street is only one block long and quiet. Our neighbors are lovely, and most of them have lived on this block their whole lives, so we all take care of one another. UNAM, Centro Histórico, Reforma, and Chapultepec are all easily accesible as we are mere blocks away from two Metro stations and two additional Metrobus lines. There is an Ecobici bike share station on the corner, but you are also welcome to use our bikes: two adult and one youth. Rent includes weekly cleaning service, city water, gas, electricity and wifi. Bed linens and towels are provided. You will be responsible for purchasing cleaning supplies or providing funds to our cleaner to purchase them. There will be a property manager available to help in case something breaks or problems arise. Mexico City is currently experiencing a prolonged drought that has affected water supplies. Although our street has not yet experienced shortages, we are all very cautious with our water usage. Our apartment has water-saving appliances, toilets, and faucets. It is a small building with only three apartments, so there is no doorman. There is also no elevator. We are willing to consider pets, with a deposit for possible damages.
