It is brilliantly located for public transport with the area being serviced by a ferry to the city, or numerous buses on a major bus route a short 10-minute walk away. It is close to AUT Northern Campus, Auckland University and Massey University. It also has two primary schools, one intermediate and one college in its zone. Numerous other schools are nearby. Just down the road, 5-10 minutes, are a couple of excellent cafes, restaurants, and local amenities, including the popular Stafford Road wine bar and Bridgeway Art House Cinema. Little Shoal Bay Harbour Beach, Le Roys Bush, and local playgrounds are also nearby, perfect for young, old or in-between.
