Our light-filled 4BR/2.5BA family-friendly home has a large garden with a patio, gas grill, trampoline, and garage. The house is convenient to Cambridge colleges and ideal for a family in need of accommodation for the 2024-25 academic year. It is semi-detached and located on a tree-lined street in the Arbury neighbourhood. The home has four bedrooms. The primary bedroom is on the top floor and has an ensuite bathroom (shower). The first floor has three double bedrooms (one bedroom with a U.S. queen-sized bed, one with two single beds, and another currently set up as a play room that we could relocate one of the twin beds to if needed). The first floor also holds a spacious bathroom with tub/shower and a office with an electric standing desk and chair. The ground floor has an open kitchen/dining room with gas fire place, a living room with a gas fire place and a half bathroom. The living room opens to the patio/back garden. The kitchen has a gas stove, two ovens, a washer, a dryer, a microwave, and various other appliances. Our home also has a driveway with off-street parking (our car could potentially be included if there's interest). About the neighborhood We live in the Arbury neighbourhood of historical Cambridge, UK. The city centre and the scenic river Cam is a 15-minute walk or a short bike ride away. There's also the bus line #1 around the corner which easily takes you to the centre as well as the Cambridge train station. The various Cambridge colleges are 10-15 minutes by bike. Primary and secondary schools are 3-min walk. In our neighbourhood are four grocery stores in walking distance: ALDI (10-min walk), Budgens (10-min walk), Iceland (10-min walk) and the convenience store One Stop (1-min walk). There is a pub next to the One Stop. We also have playgrounds close by: Histon Recreation Ground (10-min walk), Alexandra Gardens (15-min walk) and Jesus Green playground (15-min walk). In addition, the Chesterton Community Leisure Centre is only a 5-min walk away: The Centre offers a heated indoor pool, a gym and fitness classes as well as other sports activities at low cost.
