Two-bedroom bungalow featuring a light-filled office with two workstations, a private yard surrounded by lush plantings, and outdoor patio areas for relaxing. There is ample, non-permitted on-street parking, but use of our one-car garage is negotiable. So is use of our car, which may be desirable for academics coming from abroad. We can also negotiate use of our recreational gear, like bicycles, snowshoes, kayak, paddleboard, etc. We will also be renting our detached studio apartment that is listed separately (https://www.sabbaticalhomes.com/rental/165556), but would consider renting both houses to the same tenant at a discount. Let us know if that is of interest. Our home is equidistant (2 miles, 5-minute drive) from two new LINK light rail stations that will open in August 2024, making for an easy commute to the University of Washington, downtown Seattle, and beyond. For traveling healthcare professionals, multiple facilities are within a 12 minute drive, including UW Medical Center Northwest and Swedish Hospital Edmonds. We are steps away from 60-acre Hamlin Park, which has a large forest with an extensive trail system as well as playgrounds and ballfields. Furniture, linens, cleaning supplies, etc. included, but this house doesn’t have a television. We would considering purchasing one if it is important to the tenants. Our home would be perfect for a family with a small child, but we can remove the kid-friendly touches for a household of all-adults (and can also replace the twin bed seen in the second bedroom if desired). Other personal effects seen in photos will be put into storage on the premises.
