Bright and quiet appartment in the heart of Montpellier

Description

We are a couple of academics (biologists) with a 12-years old daughter and we are going on sabbatical to the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciencias in Oeiras (Lisbon) from September 2024 to June/July 2025. We would like to find an exchange or to rent our appartment in Montpellier. Our appartment is a double duplex with a large open area (kitchen, living-room and office space) on the main floor and three bedrooms on the upper level. One bedroom has it own bathroom attached and another bathroom is shared between the two other bedrooms. The apparment is fully furnished, with a lot of wood parkets and books. The appartment is located in a building where all (13) appartments open on a common patio, shared with neighbours. It is 5 min walking from the historic center of Montpellier and 10 minutes walking from the train station. There is a tram stop in front of our buiding. All university campuses or institutes are reachable by bike or by public transportation in less than 30 minutes. Parking in the streets around the appartment is difficult. The monthly rate in the nearby underground parking is around 90 euros.
