Please note - the house is also adjoined with another unit above it, where my mother lives. She is in her mid-70s and a very friendly, bright spirit, though you will not see her often. She was an artist in the 70s before she became a mother and housewife. The unit is totally separate with separate entrances and locks, on an entirely different floor, and fully divided by a pantry room and boiler room as well. She does not use the entrance that you would be using. We can also secure and seal the door that connects the unit to the boiler room, so it feels totally secure and separate.
