This home is located on an absolutely beautiful piece of property just outside of Madison, Wisconsin. There is easy access from the home to hiking and biking trails, restaurants and all the cultural activities that the lovely city of Madison offers. It is quiet and feels very safe. The home itself is a lovely, contemorary, prairie style designed by a protege of Frank Lloyd Wright. It is clean, very well furnished and equipped with everything I could have wanted and more. The owners responded quickly to any requests. The home provides separate living space, a private living space and a bedroom on the lower level which made the stay easy and comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and the home is well-cared for - highly recommend!

We rented the Treichels beautiful prarie stye home in Fitchburg for 3 months last summer. My brother and mom were visiting from Arizona and it was a great place for them to be in such a serene place. My mother is 95 and has dementia and the master bedroom with the walk in shower was perfect her as well as the sunroom which she spent much of her time in. The home was clean but we needed to put many artifacts and things away so as not to ruin them or have my mom confused by items that were not hers. The Treichels were very accomodating and easy to work with. We have stayed in contact with them even after our summer stay. The grounds are beautiful and we even had an outdoor family picnic there one afternoon which mom mother loved.
