My home is a live/work townhouse with a 1 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor and a finished double studio & bath with a separate entrance on the ground floor. The apartment is the unit for rent; it has an open floor plan with a kitchen, living/dining area, and a separate bedroom and bath. There are high ceilings with lots of natural light from skylights and large windows. Minimum stay for rental is 30 days. For a home exchange, both floors of the work/live condo are available. In addition to the apartment on the first floor, the double finished studio on the ground floor has a full bath; there is a twin futon in the first studio and a queen size futon in the 2nd studio. The ground floor studio is 650 square feet and has french doors that open onto the garden patio. For the home exchange with both floors, you can easily sleep 5-6 people. Minimum stay for home exchange is 15 days. There are 6 townhouses in the condominium building, all facing an interior garden. The apartment has access to a shared garden at the center of the courtyard. The complex is quiet and sheltered from the street with a security gate. The Fruitvale BART Station is part of the BART Bikehub and has bike vale parking/repairs, 24 hour controlled access parking and free smart bike racks: https://bikehub.com/bart The Jingletown waterfront is part of the San Francisco Bay Trail; easy bike access to Alameda, Oakland, and San Leandro. It is a 10 minute walk to Alameda, an island city with beaches, bike paths, restaurants, shopping, and a ferry to San Francisco.
