Modern and sunny cottage in Montreal

Description

We have a beautiful modern cottage in Montreal, Canada; the multicultural, diverse, francophone paradise of North America. We would like to exchange our house sometime between April and August 2024. Although we would like an exchange for at least 1 month, we are flexible on dates (and destinations...) The house is near the beautiful Lachine canal, ideal for ride bikes or runs. It is right between Verdun and St-Henri districts. Both of them offer a lot of restaurants and bars. All four universities in Montreal are easy accessible either by bike or metro (UQAM, UdeM, Concordia, McGill). We are located 10 minutes away from the Green Metro Line which takes you downtown and connects you with the rest of the services. A bus stop that drops you off at two metro stations including the one that goes to the airport. We have a grocery store five minutes away and a third wave coffee shop a corner away from the house. We are also close to Atwater Market, Griffintown, Petite Bourgogne. Wellington and Notre-Dame streets are 20 minutes away on foot where you will also find specialty shops, restaurants, yoga studios and many other services. The Plateau is 25 minutes away by Metro or bike. Some of the best restaurants of Montreal are easily accessible and St-Henri is home to some of the best known places. And the best part, three major parks are easily accessible for biking, walking or running. Who we are: Simon, a psychologist and University professor at UQAM and Luisa an artist.
