Sunny apartment in Amsterdam West

Our Amsterdam apartment is on a quiet street with playgrounds in either direction, but right around the corner from lively cafes, cool shops, restaurants, and parks including Amsterdam's version of Central Park: Vondel Park. The apartment has a large, bright, living room with floor to ceiling glass doors that open to a French balcony. The living room is separated from the eat-in kitchen by characteristic 1920s stained-glass ensuite doors. We did a major renovation in the summer of 2022. All of the kitchen appliances (refrigerator, oven, dishwasher) are less than a year-old, including a modern electric induction stovetop. The natural stone countertop was also installed in 2022. It's small though, which doesn't leave a whole lot of counter space for cooking. In 2022 we installed a new bathroom, painted the entire apartment, and stripped and varnished the pine wood floors. We have three small bedrooms. One is being used as a baby room, one as a bedroom, and another as a office. The apartment has a washing machine and dryer. It is on the second floor of a five-story walkup. It has it's own entrance to the street from an outdoor staircase. All of the apartments in the neighborhood were built in the late 1920s and early 1930s as part of Amsterdam's large pre-war expansion. The neighborhood is quite popular, and thriving, with young families, students, and international residents. There's plenty of bike and car parking, with electric charging stations. You can use our bicycles (which have simple back-breaks) during your stay.
