This 1938 solid brick apartment was fully renovated in November 2023 and complimented by quality furnishings and original artworks. It’s sunny quiet and is comfortable all year. Although it’s a one bedroom apartment it has a generous and spacious feel. The balcony is a delightful extra living area and the short residential street is a dead end so very little traffic noise and there is a park with city views just moments from front door. There are ceiling fans to make it more comfortable in humid weather but usually the sea and harbour breezes that flow through the apartment are sufficient. There is gas heating that you probably will not need often as there is good sunlight penetration during our winter that warms the brickwork and concrete ceilings. Kitchen is equipped with a microwave that has steaming capability, a gas cooktop, airfryer (for roasting, baking etc), blender, toaster and kettle. In addition to my washing machine there is also a shared laundry in my building that includes commercial quality ($2) coin operated washer and dryer and an outdoor clothes line. There is some occasional noise from other residents and plumbing because of shared light well which bedroom and bathroom look onto but we all try to be careful about it. Apple Home Pod and Samsung Frame smart TV in living room. I have 4/5G portable WiFi internet which is fine for general use like streaming TV, video calls, browsing etc but my reception in this apartment is only 2 out of 4 bars so if you need super fast speeds and will be transferring large amounts of data it may not be sufficient. I also have a local 24hr gym membership I can swap if you also have one. Potts Point is a vibrant inner city walkable precinct with a village feel and has everything you need. It’s adjacent to Elizabeth Bay, Kings Cross, Rushcutters Bay, Darlinghurst and Woolloomooloo. Near the harbour, parks, botanic gardens, the NSW state art gallery, an outdoor 50m heated salt water swimming pool, shopping, bars and restaurants. Short trip to city centre (25min walk) Opera House (30min walk) and Bondi Beach (16min Uber/40min using public transport) Practically speaking just a few minutes to a major supermarket, dry cleaners, laundries, post office and a bank. Bus stop at end of street to city centre and central station and a 11min walk to Kings Cross and station. Seeking simultaneous reciprocal exchanges with other primary homes for stays of 1-3 months. My dates are flexible however prefer confirmation well in advance. I’m looking to exchange with comparable homes inner city neighbourhoods like mine in central Paris or London and interested in return visits to same. I prefer to exchange with other single adults. There will be space made for you to unpack and feel at home but most of my things will still be there. This is a non smoking home. Comments: Seeking an exchange in central Paris in a home comparable to my own 5/6 October until 7 November dates negotiable. My home including balcony is strictly no smoking
