Beautiful home near William & Mary College and Colonial Williamsburg

We loved this home; in fact we extended our stay 3 times! The setting and neighborhood were just far enough from the bustle of town so it was very quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed the many walking paths and trails. It was a very short and easy drive to get in for shopping or to the college and historical area. Williamsburg itself was a delightful town. The home was very well equipped (great kitchen) and comfortable, with spacious common areas and also enough opportunities for separation that multiple people could easily work from home. Lynn was very prompt and easy to communicate with, and also very accomodating to our changing schedules. I'd highly recommend a stay here!

I stayed here while visiting the College of William and Mary, and I could not have found a better place to stay. The house is beautiful and the location is peaceful. The house was very clean and the yard well maintained. The house includes all the comforts of home. The development is great to walk around and there are some short trails that pass through the woods. The commute to the college is easy - never more than 20 minutes of pleasant driving. It is also very convenient to Jamestown and other great places to visit. The hostess was very easy to contact, provided any needed information quickly, and was always nice to talk to. If I ever return to Williamsburg, this would be my first choice of a place to stay! Walter

We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay. The hosts were invariably easy to reach and responsive. The house is spacious, bright, pleasant, and extremely comfortable. What is not apparent from the photos is the sense of privacy provided by the woodland beyond the back yard, the varied opportunities for outdoor dining or sitting (sunny, shady, open, sheltered), the ping-pong table for rainy days, and the lovely network of walking trails that meander past small ponds, woods, and flowering trees right outside the door. Williamsburg and a wealth of other attractions are near at hand. In sum, there were no negatives and we highly recommend this listing.
