Kingston, Ontario, Canada
Are you an academic or retiree looking for a home in Kingston for the period September 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022? Quiet, sunny, antique- and art-filled home, with high-speed internet, includes a back-of-the-house book-lined study with ample work space and open shelves for your own books and art work, with a great view of a mature, well-established garden, including a 200-year-old Oak tree. My home is fully furnished - including china and linens - and is available from early September 2021 to April 30, 2022, while I am away from Kingston. Parking for one vehicle (snow removal is included). On a bus route and a five-minute walk to Lake Ontario Park. Close to west-end campus of Queen's University, St. Lawrence College, and Providence Care Hospital. A property manager is only a phone call (or text) away although your stay should be worry-free as all aspects of my home have been updated. No pets, children, or smoking. A retired academic, since 2011 I have hosted numerous academics, and a few non-academics, in my home (including eight individuals through Sabbatical Homes) typically for four or five months at a time. It's been a satisfying experience for all of us.
