A lovely one bedroom room plus a winter terrace (which I use as my study/day sleeping area) is available for rent. The apartment has a fully furnished bedroom (with a double bed) upstairs along with a bathroom with a washing machine. Downstairs portion has a long corridor, store room, a guest toilet, and an open kitchen with a lounge that opens into a beautifully lit office/winter terrace. It is bright apartment with a lot of natural light. The apartment can accommodate a 2 adults or a small family rather easily. The bedroom has a study table as well. We're both academics and love the plenty of reading and writing space in the apartment. The downstairs area has a modern open kitchen with a dishwasher and an espresso machine that makes excellent coffee. It has almost everything that anyone would require during their stay. The spice rack is adequately stacked to invite you to try out your culinary skills. The apartment is located in a relatively quieter area in Niederschöneweide. It is a peaceful, residential area with good family-friendly neighbours. Grocery stores like Rewe, Netto and DM are found at a 2-3 minute walking distance. Down the road, you will find two bakery/cafes, a beautiful spree-facing Greek restaurant and a great Italian restaurant. The S-bahn station Oberspree (on S47 line that connects Neukoelln/Hermannstr in 12 minutes) is located at a 5-minute walking distance. There is a bus stop for Bus 165 ( it can take you to Treptower Park, Kreuzberg and Mitte directly with a 20-30 minute ride) right across the apartment.
