Spacious flat near San Giovanni - Rome

A brightly-lit, spacious apartment in the Porta Metronia area of Rome. The two bedrooms, small study, and spacious living areas (including a large kitchen) make this an ideal living space. The owner is helpful and always quick to repond to questions. The apartment is located above one of Rome's most traditional covered markets - easy hopping for basics in the area, plus nice restaurants and bars. The neighborhood is well outside the crowded and touristy sections of Rome's historic center. There is a #628 bus with direct service to the center of Rome and a #360 with direct service to/from the main train station. Walking times: 30 mins to the Colosseum; 15 mins to San Giovanni Laterano; 15 mins to the entrance to the Caffarella park.

Perfect location and a wonderful stylist apartment, that was also very comfortable and well equiped. A perfect place to work (it was very quiet) and also convenient for experiencing Rome's culture, shopping at the market etc. The host was an excellent communicator, giving useful advice on local restaurants etc. We would love to stay there again!
