Zagreb, , Croatia
Our apartment is situated on the first floor of a 1920's building and still retains many details of the art deco time, including the high ceilings and tall glass doors. It is situated on a quiet green street in downtown Zagreb in a safe residential neighbourhood, two minutes away from the liveliest square in Zagreb, the British square, with the open-air farmers market and flower market on weekdays, and the Flee and Antique market on weekends. The post office, banks, shops, cafés, restaurants, beauty and hair salons, fitness, grocery stores etc., are all around. The tram stop on the Zagreb transversal street Ilica is also right at the square. In the other direction from the flat, just three minutes’ walk away is the park Zelengaj where you can go for a jog or a walk, also including a children’s playground. It’s takes an easy 10 minute stroll to reach the central square of Ban Jelacic and the main fresh market Dolac. The apartment has high-ceilings and inside glass doors, matching the period when it was built, with a spacious design for a three-room apartment (68m2). The main bedroom has a double bed and a walk-in closet, and also provides a working space, in addition to a small office (which can be converted to a second bedroom). The living & dining room includes a fold-out sofa in case you have guests. The kitchen is fully furnished (including a dishwasher). The bathroom includes a tub, and is equipped with a washer and a dryer. In the library & music room there is also our antique family piano that you are free to use if you play. The apartment is fully furnished with fast Wi-Fi, flat screen TV with cable and on site central heating. A large (paying) parking is in front of the apartment, and several garages and long-term parking facilities are in the vicinity.
