Toronto, Ontario, Canada
I'm a University of Toronto academic physician and will be going on sabbatical from July 2021 to June 2022 and will be renting my home while away. The home: This is a furnished newly renovated 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom, gorgeous apartment in my home in the south Annex/Harbord village neighbourhood. It's on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the home and is approximately 1500 square feet plus a huge split level deck facing east (with firepit, sectional, chairs, tables, BBQ, sun shade) and a smaller west facing deck. Large kitchen with island and all appliances including a wine fridge. One natural fireplace and two in wall electric fireplaces. Three bedrooms each with closet space and two with walk out decks. Two work spaces including one with an antique desk and bay window view. Exposed brick throughout the home. Master bathroom with heated floor, marble accent piece on wall, shower and full tub. En suite washer and drier. The neighbourhood: The home is on historic Brunswick Avenue and about a 5 minute walk to the University of Toronto campus. This is one of the best neighbourhoods in the city and is within walking distance to Kensington, Little Italy, Bloor West, Yorkville, Queen's Park, and Chinatown. Lots of public transport options and can easily walk to Spadina or Bathurst subway stations plus street cars on College St, Spadina, and Bathurst and a bus on Harbord. Some of the best restaurants in the city are a two minute walk away on Harbord Street.
