We teach at UC Berkeley, and are looking for someone who might be interested in staying in our place while we are away for the summer. The apartment was refurbished last year, has a brand new kitchen, a new bathroom and a new ensuite bathroom off the master bedroom. We use the second bedroom as an office, but we also have an airbed and a sofa bed in the living room. There's a dining space with a large dining table next to the kitchen. The apartment is on a quiet street in Oakland's Adams Point neighborhood, a few blocks from Whole Foods, and walking distance to Lake Merritt and the shops and restaurants on Grand Lake Avenue,. Berkeley is a short drive/bike ride up the street, and you can be in San Francisco in 20 minutes!
