Easy to visit other New England towns, beaches & the city of Boston. We have a car available for rent. Studio Oasis at end of lane with forest views on 1.4 acres. Studio located on fresh-water's edge in separate part of home, a three-level California Ranch split level, a rare find in New England. Enter private tree-lined brick pathway to private entrance. Two doors between main house & studio. Privacy and quiet. Inside: your sunny spacious studio oasis, cathedral ceilings, three walls of windows w wild nature views. Inside: Soft lighting, reading lamps, cozy bathtub/shower, ample closet & kitchenette. Heat/ac green energy. Professional wooden painter easel avail. Outside: private deck, 3 grills (propane, charcoal, & smoker), 3 outdoor fire pits. For a fee, we can arrange more access to our California Ranch style, 3-story split level. 2 stone fireplaces, 3 beds/2 bath, office, Yoga/meditation studio + free weights. Spectacular sunsets & sounds of forest & wetlands life outside your door. Cook / sit by fire outside. If you know about forest or wetlands & wish to study them, this studio is ideal. Sea & sandy beach 10 min. away. Free: kayak, paddle board, boogie boards, bikes, picnic & beach chairs. Optional for fee: car w/beach access sticker, work studio, fresh meals, tours of universities, the city, the nature. We're professors & artists (science/community living archive making, multi media story telling, equity & sustainability). We offer guided writing workshops for all ages (academic, artistic, literary, community, wakes/events/community rituals) for individuals & groups. (link below). This local public transport is 35-minutes to Boston downtown wharf & a few-minutes walk to historic Quincy Market, Aquarium, Children's Museum, Faneuil Hall, Boston Common, China Town, Institute of Contemporary Art, dozens of restaurants, cafes, shops, & all five T-lines (metro) that go to Harvard, MIT, East Boston, the airport, the Museum of Fine Art, the Isabella Gardner Museum & more. Our roundtrip work commute from our nature oasis to local universities in downtown Boston now takes the same time it took us when living three miles from downtown Boston (walking + T/metro ride).
