Seeking a family to rent our furnished home in Arlington for academic year

We are spending the year closer to family out of state and looking for a family who will enjoy our furnished home and great neighborhood within walking distance of all Arlington has to offer, with easy access by bike, car, or public transit to many surrounding areas. This is a side by side duplex condo with shared back porch, private backyard (with sandbox and wooden climbing structure) and shared driveway with room for two cars. Washer/dryer in basement. Downstairs has kitchen, half bath, spacious living room with 3-season sunroom, dining room, and wonderful playroom/family room addition. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms: spacious primary bedroom with extra alcove we use as a home office; first child bedroom is set up with bunk beds; smaller child bedroom can be set up with crib, toddler bed, or twin (currently set up with twin, pictured with crib). Separate bathtub and shower in bathroom next to the bedrooms upstairs. If desired, we are happy to leave children's books, games, and some childproofing setup. Home accommodates 2 or 3 children, with excellent public schools grades K-6 within walking distance. Excellent bakery around the corner! Easy walk to Spy Pond park and Minuteman Bike Path. Ten minute walk to Arlington Center or East Arlington. Less than five minute walk to 77 bus to Harvard Square and 87 bus to Tufts and Lechmere. No smoking. Cats negotiable (we had one that has not been in the house since July 2023). Note that the air conditioning is window units which will be in place throughout our home prior to your arrival. Our solar panels will offset most of the electric bill. If you like gardening, there are garden beds and tools available. We love living here!
