About
I am a visual artist and retired academic. For the last few years I have used the apartment only occasionally, but soon I will be living here full-time. Before COVID I shared the apartment with Karen, a painter, for a year. I have also hosted students in the past. All were great experiences. I have used Sabbatical Homes several times before., each time with success. The apartment is large. I use one of the two adjoining living rooms as a home studio, and I have an office in the enclosed veranda that adjoins my bedroom. Once I'm living here full-time, I will be at home quite a lot. There is one bathroom in the apartment. Last year I acquired a puppy, He is a very friendly, gentle whippet who rarely barks. The person I'm looking for will need to be comfortable around a friendly dog. Ideally they won't need regular car parking, as all the local street parking is limited to one or two hours. I love my apartment for its convenience and its peaceful, calm environment. It will appeal to someone who feels similarly about the place they live in. The person will be willing to lend a hand with keeping the shared areas of the apartment clean and tidy.

Comments: The room is large, light and airy . It has a very comfortable queen-sized bed, a clothes rack and chest of drawers. There is room for a desk at the south-facing window. There is one, shared bathroom with a shower.
