Description
Would suit a writer or anyone who enjoys beautiful countryside, a perfect climate and quiet. I am a UK architect and retired academic and my wife is Mallorcan. Local friends say that the place is 'Mallorcan:' fellow architects say 'great design with regional sensibility...' Our well-fed cistern is 8' above ground with stairs, has staggering views but would not suit young children. There is good walking nearby and wonderful ditto in the mountains. The island is famous for cycling. There are 4 bikes. Beaches are 40 minutes away in any direction and we are nearer to the unspoilt ones, especially the eastern coves. We're 4+ miles/ 5 km from Petra, pretty town and home of Junipero Serra, founder of LA and San Francisco.
