Our solar-powered home is located in Coconino Estates, a highly desirable historic neighborhood in Flagstaff perfect for those who love older homes and want to stay close to downtown. It is located minutes from Downtown Flagstaff along Hwy 180, and it is short drive to Snowbowl Ski Resort (20 min), a short bike to Flagstaff Medical Center / NAU / Flagstaff HS, and a short walk to Sechrist Elementary School. The house is located on a quiet street. The community pool, playground and urban trail are directly accessible through the rear gate. You can enjoy breathtaking views of the San Francisco Peaks and go skiing, hiking, running, kayaking, paddle boarding, and mountain biking in this charming city of Flagstaff that lies at 7000 ft elevation and is surrounded by ponderosa pine forests. The layout of our house is as follow. The master bedroom has one double bed, walk in closet, and a newly renovated (2023) ensuite bath with a smart toilet, radiant floor heating and a large soaking tub. The second bedroom has one double bed. The third bedroom has two single beds. There is another newly renovated (2023) full bath with a large soaking tub. The living room has a wood burning fireplace, board games, and books. The spacious dining room has a dining table that fits 8 and a keyboard. The family room currently serves as a kid play area (toys, costumes, legos, trains, doll house) and an office (desk, office supplies). The laundry room has a new high efficiency front-loading washing machine and a smart electric dryer with steam (2022). The backyard has a covered porch with a picnic table and a propane grill. It is decorated with beautiful irises, native plants, and apple trees. The raspberry patch, strawberry plants, and blueberry bushes will keep kids entertained all summer. Ideally, we are looking for a family who can stay for a full year while we are away. The exact move-in and move-out dates are flexible but it would go from summer 2024 to summer 2025. We plan to store some of our belongings in the garage while we are away. As such, part of the garage will be inaccessible to the tenants but the large driveway has ample space for 2 cars. Comments: The property backs the Rio de Flagstaff, providing easy access to several trails. New vinyl plank flooring. New appliances (dishwasher, washer, dryer, tankless water heater) and solar panels. Both bathrooms renovated in 2023. No TV in the property.
