Having lived here for over 25 years, we've come to appreciate a location that is lively during the day and pleasantly quiet in the evening. The first floor includes the living room, dining room with seating for eight, guest bathroom and a recently remodeled kitchen with granite counters, Viking gas range and a highly effective, custom-made vent hood. There is seating for three at the island counter and an adjoining pantry. The second floor Includes the master bedroom with walk-in closet, a recently, fully renovated bathroom with glassed-in shower and a Toto "Washlet" bidet toilet. A washer/dryer is conveniently located in the hallway behind fold-away doors steps away from the master bedroom. Also on the second floor is a bedroom with a fireplace – very cozy on winter nights. A bathroom with shower is located just outside the bedroom. Several years ago we remodeled the 3rd floor converting it from the original two small bedrooms and a landing to one large open space that has served as a combination guest bedroom and office space. A full bath with bathtub and shower adjoins this space. Skylights over the stair and over the bed make this a bright, pleasant daytime area. A side porch accessed from the dining room is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or morning coffee, weather permitting. A glass-top table and several chairs are provided. The side yard features a fenced-in, brick paved area with a teak dining table and 6 chairs. A Weber barbeque grill is also provided. In Spring and Fall, the entire area is graced by the large, leafy canopy of the Silver Maple tree that grows in the yard. A guest pass (provided) must be placed in the car window to avoid ticketing. House Cleaning: A cleaning service comes in for approximately 5 hours every other week to mop wooden floors, vacuum, dust, clean kitchen stove, sink etc. and change bedding.
