There is no through traffic and the houses are surrounded by fields and bridal paths. The cottage was recently renovated. The open plan downstairs has a huge wood burning stove and is tiled in antique terracotta tiles typical of the area. There is a downstairs double bedroom with bathroom and a separate toilet. Upstairs there are two charming bedrooms and a full bathroom. There is a beautiful garden outside the accessed from the kitchen and sitting room with the perfect place to eat under the trees. Shared use of pool with owners set in the second garden away from the house. The cottage is situated on the owners property and shares the open courtyard to the front for parking. Excellent local winery and gourmet dining nearby in the towns of Montmorillon and Le Blanc. Local shops, bars, restaurant, church, banks, cinema only minutes away in La Trimouille. Large supermarkets in Montmorillon (also 15 minutes away) and in Le Blanc. Colourful outdoor markets in both towns on Wednesday and Saturday. France's oldest market takes place only 15 minutes away on the 29th of each month in Les Herolles where you can buy anything from the finest of cheese France has to offer to a pig!
