3 BEDROOM HOME IN WESTDALE

Description

This comfortable furnished three bedroom family home is owned by an academic family now living permanently in Galway, Ireland. We stay in the house for a few weeks each summer in order to visit family and friends and the rest of the time it is available for visitors to the university. Everything you need is here: workspace, bookshelves, bus access etc. There is room to park one car. The house is located in the Princess Point area which offers the best of both worlds. It is tucked away in one of the quietest and most private parts of Westdale while still providing access to everything the area has to offer. It is situated within walking distance of the university and the hospital as well as to the Westdale shopping district, with its boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, public library and traditional movie theatre. On the same street is the entrance to Churchill Park with miles of conservation walking trails, The Children’s Teaching Garden, Friends of the Aviary, soccer fields, baseball pitches, cricket pitches, a fantastic kids play area with a splash pad and a newly installed walkers' track. Close by is the Princess Point Conservation Area with waterfront walking and biking trails, which lead to Pier 4 Waterfront Park, the Marine Museum and sailing marinas. The house is also within walking distance of Cootes Paradise Elementary (JK to grade 5), Westdale High School, Kehila Jewish Community Day School and Ècole Secondaire Georges P. Vanier. We have been on sabbatical ourselves and know well how important it is to have reliable comfortable accommodation. Children are most welcome!
