A gorgeous flat in Moda, Istanbul

We are offering a fully-furnished flat in Moda, a very nice neighborhood on the Asian side of the city, easily accessible by public transportation -- a major asset in a big city like Istanbul. Renovated in 2015, our flat has a nice view of the Marmara Sea and the Prince Islands, and, more importantly, you can enjoy that view from a big patio/balcony which sits about 6-7 people. It is fairly big (130 sqm/1400 sqft) with 3 bedrooms (one of which has been converted to a dressing room), a living room and 1 1/2 bathrooms. It is completely equipped with all electronic appliances and A/C in all rooms, as well as modern, tasteful furniture. It is particularly convenient for people who spend long hours of work at home, as it has a study with a big desk, a desktop computer, a printer, hi-speed Wi-fi, bookcases, and a comfortable sofa, as well as a view and access to the patio. The flat is in an unbeatable location. It is only a 10-minute walk to the ferries, metro, metrobus and buses. And although Moda is on the Asian side, it is easier to get to some European-side destinations from Moda than it would be from many European-side locations. You can take ferries from Kadiköy to Karaköy, Eminönü, Kabatas, Besiktas, Bakirköy, Prince Islands and even to Sariyer--where Koç University is located. The shuttles for several universities including Yeditepe and Sabanci will pick you up at the doorsteps of the building. The historical peninsula where St. Sofia and the Blue Mosque are situated, is only one ferry away (Kadiköy-Eminönü ferry takes about 20 minutes). To get to both airports from Moda is fairly easy as well—in Istanbul’s standards, of course. You can take shuttle buses (whose stop in Kadiköy is about 15 min. walking distance from home) to Istanbul Airport (on the European side) and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (on the Asian side), which would take about 45-60 min, contingent upon traffic. Moda is one of the nicest neighborhoods in Istanbul with lots to offer, including nice cafes, restaurants, bars, movie theaters, an opera house, a ballet, bookstores and libraries, as well as all kinds of shopping facilities. All of these are in immediate reach of our flat. Another important and nearby facility (only a 3-minute walk) is a park featuring a long, scenic trail along the Marmara Sea, which is ideal for jogging, biking, and walking. Such proximity to these facilities and the sea shore provides a great escape from the traffic and stress of this mega-city. We love our flat but have to live apart from it because of our jobs abroad.
