Tenant Searching for a Place in New York, New York, United States
Looking for a trustworthy, education-focused family to care for your home while you're on sabbatical? Pick us! I am adjunct faculty at Columbia law school and a partner at a large law firm, and my husband is an entrepreneur/stay-at-home dad. Between us we have degrees from Wellesley, Vassar, Dartmouth, Columbia Law School, Columbia School of Engineering, and University of Chicago Business School. Our grade-school aged daughters attend Brearley and Hunter. We also look after my mother in law, who is mobile but in her early 80s (and doesn't navigate stairs well). We are renovating our upper west side apartment and will need to vacate for 6-7 months starting Mid January 2021. We are flexible about move out/move in over the winter break but we want to have the girls settled for when the new academic year starts in fall 2021. We are happy to look after pets (though we'd need to meet your dog first!) and plants in exchange for a reduced rent.

I am teaching my fifth year of US Food Law & Policy at Columbia University School of Law. I am a partner at O'Melveny & Myers, where I help defend companies against consumer class actions. When I started my legal career I clerked on the Second Circuit for the Hon. Sonia Sotomayor, and then served in the US Justice Department.
