About Me

I'm an English Professor and language assessor with a career base in Toronto. I grew on Vancouver Island, which fueled an interest in aboriginal culture and travels that have taken me far and wide on some pretty great journeys around this amazing planet. I love Sabbatical homes and have had met great people, and had wonderful accommodation experiences using this site. People have been generous, respectful and more often than not, all been bitten by the same wanderlust to travel, learn and grow off the beaten track. This year I am trying my hand at renting out my own whimsical loft because I can now trust it will be well looked after and enjoyed. This gorgeous space sits in the heart of Toronto's core, close enough to U of T and Ryerson, but uniquely, offers a quiet homey environment (this is a house divided into 2 lofty spaces) with a huge private roof top deck that my friends constantly tell me is Feng Shui beautiful. So I guess it should be enjoyed while I'm away. So if Toronto is a city you've been hoping to explore, drop me a line.
