During my stay I will be focusing on a research project. As a landscape architect, I take joy in looking after house plants! About Me
Working as a sessional lecturer in Master of Landscape Architecture courses at the University of Adelaide, South Australia, my role is highly demanding and multifaceted. Over the years I have assisted with teaching and creating course content for design studios and Masters programs including: Final Landscape Architecture Project (Studio Leader), Studio Cultures: Landscape Architecture, Critical Historical Practices, providing lectures and tutorials for students, student support, organising and hosting Biannual event SABE All In exhibition; and the Designing Research Conference (DRC) Colloquium - a biannual event hosting local, interstate and overseas visiting academics. As well as being an academic, I'm an artist working across the mediums of sculpture and installation. Drawing upon my background a a landscape architect, I explore the poetic expression of the Australian landscape and contemporary culture. I have exhibited at Pari Ari, Seventh Gallery, Cement Fondu, Live Dreams / Performance Space Liveworks Festival, FELTspace, Testing Grounds and Borderlands, Dark MOFO. I'm a Cultural Coordinator at Unkraut Kollektiv in Berlin, and a former Co-director at FELTspace gallery.
