Mid-40's Professional Couple Looking for a Great Apt or Home this Winter

About us: highly reputable (top in our field), self-employed married couple of 20 years (no kids) in search of a dreamy getaway for winter. We are looking for an inspiring place to call home for a mini-sabbatical of sorts. We are fortunate enough to work from home (via laptops), but we require a great neighborhood as when we're not working, you can usually find us walking in parks, hitting up yoga studios, and judging shops on their coffee. ;) We're especially looking for a well-designed space, whether it has a great view, is generally charming, or is in an incredible neighborhood (ideally all of the above). My husband likes an accessible grocery store, if possible. One bedroom or two doesn't much matter and we can be flexible with that. Things we aren't flexible with: no dishwasher, no washer or dryer, suburbia, places that aren't clean or have former smokers, or are located in an uninspiring area. We won't have a car and therefore won't need parking, but want access to as much as possible on foot so we can explore (which we plan to do a lot of). Beyond all that, we are super easy, self-manageable, quiet, clean, and rather boring. Just hope to have the adventure of a lifetime, while we can swing it, and before we get too old. :) Thank you!
