We, as a family of three teenage boys, built a house in Summit County over the last five several years. With our boys away at college or on various foreign exchange trips, we decided to rent out our Boulder house and live in the Summit County, at an elevation of 10300 feet! for 9 months. A very nice family of four from San Diego rented our home in Boulder while on sabbatical for the academic year. He is a professor at UC San Diego but grew up in Boulder, as did his wife. An added bonus -- when his parents (who live in Boulder) came to check the house out, I recruited the father to play in our community orchestra! Eventually, his wife joined as well. The family loves the house and the location (having grown up in Boulder, both were familiar with the neighborhood and this was one of the reasons our house was selected).
