Without your site we would not have been able to take our sabbatical in Austria. We are very excited about going and we have a wonderful exchange partner. We strongly suggest that you have a page of links on your site that discuss Schengen visa issues. For stays over 90 days by non-EU citizens, the rules are very complicated and getting more so year by year. Applying six months in advance for a year sabbatical could be necessary.
