Beautiful Victorian terraced seaside family house in Brighton & Hove

My husband taught politics and American Studies for over 40 years at the University of Sussex. I am a publisher and literary agent, now working part-time. We are both fortunate to be able to write and work from anywhere with good WiFi. Once or twice a year we travel, living in different countries for two or three months at a time. Our Victorian terraced house has been a delightful family home. Here we raised two children (now in their 30s) and enjoyed the proximity to the seaside (at the end of the road), friendly neighbourhood, plentiful local shops, cafes and restaurants, and the arty hipster vibe of nearby Brighton. The house is deceptively spacious. There is a large sunny sitting room with a wood-burning stove and the kitchen/dining area has French windows leading out to the garden. There are three double bedrooms, a study (or fourth bedroom), bathroom (roll-top bath, shower and WC), and separate WC. We can offer a car if useful. We have a resident cat, Zoe, and tortoise, Otis, who potters around the garden, foraging for himself. Zoe eats dried food twice a day and our neighbours are on standby to feed her so you wouldn't be tied down.
