Originally from New York, but have lived in San Francisco a very long time. Career and creating a family has kept me here as well as the fact that this is an incredible place to live. That said, I always wanted to return to NY for longer than my week or two long visits - and now is our chance! We are both retired and ready to make it happen! We have a lovely home with a backyard on a lovely street with wonderful neighbors on our block. We are really a community! And you will be welcomed, I am sure. We are looking for a one or two bedroom home in Manhattan but would consider Brooklyn as well. Our length of time and timing is flexible however we would truly like to have a little winter, spring, summer and fall. We look forward to meeting you and discussing the possibility of making this work for all of us!

Comments: San Francisco and New York have very different home heating systems and as a result we look forward to talking about how things work in SF. It's not as quite clearcut as in NY. We have a woman who cleans our house. We can discuss your options.

We would ask for the mail to be collected from our mail slot and placed in a storage box for my daughter to retrieve for us.

Easy care with the hopes of keeping the garden and plants alive. It's a lovely backyard with fire pit, gas grill, comfy seating and wonderful neighbors,
Comments: Our block is a community of wonderful neighbors who are good friends. We support each other with Happy Hour every Friday, a book group, an excel spreadsheet with recommended resources, etc. You would have a built in community!
