Pleasanton is a charming, family-friendly city, with many parks (105 acre park is one block from house), a great shopping center, and historic downtown (within walking distance) with shops, weekly farmer's market, street fairs, and restaurants. Grocery store, drug store, numerous restaurants, and Peet's coffee also within walking distance. Next to Livermore Valley Wine Country. Easy access to many California get-aways including Napa Valley, Yosemite, Santa Cruz, Carmel, Lake Tahoe, California Gold country as well as all destinations in the San Francisco Bay Area. House is 2.5 miles from Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station. Pleasanton is a great place to stay in the Bay Area as it doesn't get the summer fog - wonderful warm evenings; great for walking and biking.
