Spacious 3 1/2 (1 bedroom) classic apartment near Université de Montréal, McGill University, Concordia, as well as hospitals (the Jewish, St Mary's, Montreal General). You will also be a convenient bus ride away from UQAM, downtown and the subway (metro) system. Apartment is completely furnished, with a beautiful, well-toned, antique piano. There is a comfortable futon bed in the bedroom and a living room sofa that can be used as a bed for visitors. Kitchen appliances include refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave oven, conventional stove and oven, and toaster oven. If you like a tranquil, friendly neighbourhood, Côte-des-Neiges is perfect. This section of Montréal, a short ride from downtown, is multicultural and composed of all age groups-- students, families, and elderly. It is also friendly and helpful. You won't have a problem learning about the neighbourhood from a fellow bus rider or a stroller on the bike path across Chemin Côte-des-Neiges. The apartment is within walking distance of Mt Royal Park and, two blocks away, a cluster of shops: Metro, Pharmaprix, Exo Fruits (Middle Eastern food), Premier Moisson, restaurants and coffee shops. There is a depanneur just across the street. The bus stops at the foot of the driveway to carry you downtown, or to Mt Royal Park.
