Ideals for couples or professionals. Link with more pictures here: https://airbnb.com/h/lacretelle This very bright apartment is modern, located in a great neighborhood near public transportation, and convenient to shopping, restaurants and groceries. Lots of sunlight pour through the windows due to it being south facing. The view is very rare for Paris, allowing you to gaze out over the Parisian skyline. There are windows on both sides of the apartment (that open over the courtyard on one side and a garden/park/tennis courts on the other side), which allows a pleasant breeze to flow through during the summer months. There’s an elevator for easy access, and the apartment is high up on the top floor, From the windows and balcony, you can see tennis courts as well as the decommissioned rail system now turned into a 'park'. The entire apartment has been recently renovated. Hard wood floors give the space a clean and elegant feel. The kitchen has been redone in 2018 and is fully furnished with everything that you need to prepare your meals. There is a washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher. There is also an oven / microwave, and an induction stove – as well as plates, cutlery, glasses and all essential cookware. This is the perfect place for a couple looking to be centrally located in a modern apartment in Paris :) You will have access to the entire apartment and everything in it. This includes: -one main bedroom with a king bed (160*190), a large closet with hanging space, shelves and storage space under the bed (4 drawers) - one smaller bedroom with a single bed and a walk-in closet with shelves (see picture) -A Kitchen with all appliances and utensils -A bathroom with an Italian shower and a toilet -A living room with a large sofa (sits 3), a dinner table, 4 chairs, and an office space with a desk. There is fiber optic WIFI Internet and cable TV with hundreds of channels, including some English-speaking channels (National Geographic, BBC, etc.). The neighborhood: The apartment is located in the middle of a lively neighborhood with easy transportation to other parts of Paris. The apartment is on a side street that gives on the Rue de Vaugirard, one of the most vibrant road in Paris, where you can find plenty of places to shop, grocery stores, a movie theater, and much more! There is a large and calm park within a 2-minute walk from the apartment, which is one of the rare parks in Paris that allows you to sit on the grass – a lovely place to relax in the sun or in the shade on nice summer days! An interesting urban element of this neighborhood is that the 19-mile ‘Petite Ceinture’ runs through it. These are tracks from the old Parisian train system, and they can be seen right from the apartment! Train service along the tracks was suspended in 1930s (no trains run through them anymore, so there is absolutely no noise), and it is a nice green space that gives you a privileged and rare glimpse into Paris of the past. The main Parisian exposition center (Parc des Expositions) is a short 5-minute walk from the apartment, and expositions regularly change.
