Come stay in our lovely, Heritage Register listed, 1902 townhouse in Ottawa's best neighbourhood, the Glebe! You're just steps from restaurants, cafes, specialty food stores, hardware, several bakeries, drugstore, you name it! The canal is a block away for skating in winter and running, cycling, or picnics in summer. Downtown is 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by bike, or about 30 minutes on foot. Same goes for the major universities. Lots of museums close by, and several gyms, including a YMCA. Lansdowne, with its weekly farmer's market, major sporting events, cinema, and shops is only 7 minutes walk! There's a playground across the street, too. Start date flexible.. As for the house, it features exposed brick, and the interior was designed by an architect / designer team. Currently working with a designer to freshen up, so the design may change a little by the time you arrive. There's a brand new kitchen and a large spa bath with separate glass shower. We have a lovely back deck and a low-maintenance garden in front, as well as a balcony off the master bedroom. The master bedroom has an attached, sunny study..
