Our beautiful architect-designed solar-powered house (5 Star LEED certified) was completed in 2015. It is light, spacious, and airy: it has an open plan living room, tall ceilings with fans, and maple wood floors. No stairs of any kind: it is ADA compliant. Walks to Mozart's cafe on Lake Austin or Littlefield's Coffee and Veracruz Tacos are delightful whatever the season. Three minutes walk to a small shopping center with a Post Office, a cleaner, a liquor store, and a Pakmail. Plus a Pilates studio. The house is suitable for a family with 2-3 children, or two couples with two smaller children. Pretty master bedroom and large ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and enclosed toilet; large walk-in closet. Two more bedrooms with a full bathroom in between (Jack and Jill): one is spacious and has a large closet and a queen bed; one is smaller, and can be used as a child's room, a guest room, or a second home office depending on your needs (we use it as a guest room and office), It has two single bunk beds and a desk. Separate main home office; separate powder room; separate laundry room and walk-in pantry. Fully furnished. Good mattresses and a huge, comfortable couch. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped.. Fiber internet, WiFi and several ethernet ports, Wireless printer. TV and sound system with Apple TV provided. (No cable TV, but you are welcome to install it if you wish.) Front and back yards have native plants, gardener comes monthly at no cost to you; drip irrigation is on a regular schedule that I control from wherever I am. Nothing for you to do. Back patio with gas barbecue grill (plumbed in), large table and chairs for outdoor dining, comfortable chairs for reading, overhead lights and fan. We pay all utilities. Our housekeeper Isabel will come every two weeks for a thorough clean, paid for by us. Chemfree Pest control comes every two months. Included expenses amount to approximately $750 per month, so this rental is a good and hassle free deal. Our 2017 Chevy Bolt, which charges in the driveway from a dedicated charger powered from our solar roof (no gas bills!) is available for an extra fee plus insurance.
