Two buses, pass down the street, other routes are nearby and two undergrounds are in easy walking distance - Notting Hill Gate is 10-15 minutes walk away and Ladbroke Grove a 5 to 10 minute walk. The famous Portobello Road market offering a great variety of goods from food to antiques to junk of a flea market variety is at the end of the street. .It is a popular area for fashionable shopping too and eating out with its many restaurants. There is a cinema and a theatre at Notting Hill Gate and a great variety of public transport. Kensington Gardens leading to Hyde Park are near and even nearer is Holland Park with its great variety of vegetation including woodland, formal planting and an opera house operating in the summer. Both parks can be reached on foot.
