It has it's own entrance and garden gate, open floor plan living room/dining room/kitchen with a large serene bedroom and a nicely appointed bathroom with tub/shower. Fling the living room french doors open in the afternoon and you will feel a great connection to the garden! So much is near by! It has a walk score of 91 & Bike score of 99. Across the street from Whole Foods Grocery store, a short stroll to the restaurants, shops, & movie theater of Elmwood, Berkeley Bowl (world famous produce http://www.berkeleybowl.com/) is just blocks away, and one flat mile to campus. Getting around is easy: Staying here you are just half a mile to the BART station. One block away is a bike share station (https://www.fordgobike.com/) Time to UC Berkeley:20 minutes walking or 5 minutes cycling. Great bus service too. I use this place when I am in in Berkeley to do research and when I don't need it then I rent it to other scholars who are visiting the area. This means the availability is variable. It is set up with a scholar in mind: desk for writing, high speed internet, a sofa for lounging, a kettle for making tea, and a quiet sleeping space. The heat is radiant floor heat that keeps the place at an even temperature year round. The kitchen has both dishwasher and garbage disposal and the stove/oven are gas. Queen sized bed with all linens in the bedroom Queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room with mattress topper and bedding. Can sleep up to four but is most comfortable for one to two people.
