The apartment is a charming 2 room apartment on the top floor of a typical parisian building with an elevator. It is a really bright, cosy place that can accommodate 4 people with its bed and convertible sofa. It has a piano, a beautiful library full of French and English books, and a few works of art on the walls. Cleaning fee is 40 euros. The price includes all other charges. Location : the flat is one minute away from Colonel Fabien metro station on line 2 and 3 minutes from Belleville metro station (line 2 and 11), in a colorful, cosmopolitan, trendy area with all amenities (markets, shops, many bars and a wide range of great restaurants). Belleville is a multi-ethnic neighborhood, home to one of the city's two Chinatowns, where many artists now live. Lines 2 and 11 give direct access to : -the center of Paris (8 min to 'Châtelet' by metro), -the Centre Pompidou (6 min) and the historical neighborhood Le Marais, -Montmartre (10 min to metro Anvers, 12 min to Pigalle) -Père Lachaise cemetery (4 min). The flat is: - 1 min walk to the lovely square “place Sainte Marthe” with its coloured restaurants, wine cellar and shops - 5 min walk to the charming Canal Saint Martin, Boho and trendy neighborhood but also to the Quai de Seine / Loire, the alternative bohemian river bank, with many bars, restaurants and two cinemas. - 10 min walk to Les buttes chaumont (lovely park with water falls). The living room/kitchen includes a convertible sofa, desk, coffee table, sound appliances, keyboard and piano, wifi internet. Kitchen amenities include refrigerator, microwave, hotplates, water kettle, dishwasher, all the necessary dishes, many spices, and a table. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed. Bathroom : shower, washing machine/dryer. Clean towels, bed linens, blankets and pillows are provided. I provide my guests with instructions to find the flat and keys, a 'house manual' , restaurant/ bar recommendations in the area.
