Cozy Furnished Farm House on Haydenville/West Whately Border 13 min drive to downtown Northampton 4 Bedrooms Renting by the week OR months at a time pending my own travel schedule 2 Bathrooms Built in Office Screened in Porch Woodstove Gas Fireplace Garage Open Porch with BBQ, table and chairs Tennis Court - (not groomed, covered in moss, but good for garden beds and kids games) Yoga or Guest Loft with exercise bike We are looking for a family or mature professional individuals who are incredibly responsible, clean, and who will love and care for our home as though it was your own. The house is a big old 1800's farm house that has been updated. It's not a slick perfect AirB&B kind of rental. There are closets with our clothing in it, personal belongings in drawers and on display etc. This is a family home of a family that travels.. Each time the home is rented, we make space in the drawers and closets for visitors things, as well as space in the kitchen. There are quirks to the home. Not all 4 burners work on the stove, some windows don't have screens, some doors are funky and need care the way they are closed or locked. The 4 bdrm house sits on 5 acres on the Haydenville/West Whately border. It's a gorgeous property, lots of land, fruit trees, a screened in porch, Open kitchen/living room,. t’s an 8min drive from Florence and a 13 min drive to Smith College in Northampton. It’s a 10 min drive to The Co-op and a 20 min drive to Umass. Downstairs you will walk in to an open concept kitchen living/dining room with a wood stove. It's the best room in the house and is very conducive to cooking and hanging with friends and family at the same time. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs with a bathroom and laundry. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms and an open walk-through office and lofted area with an exercise bike and room for an extra floor bed if needed. There is a downstairs bathroom with a shower and a washer and dryer, and an upstairs bathroom with a shower and tub. Snow Plowing also an additional fee which you can arrange with our plow guy or anyone of your choosing on an on call basis Also on the property is a beautiful barn/studio set back from the house, with a possible tenant or owner occupying the space. This person keeps to themselves but does park using the driveway space.
