Enjoy the beauty and history of Warsaw from our charming, centrally located apartment on Raszynska Street in the historic Stara Ochota neighborhood, known for it's proximity to Poland's leading academic institutions. Our spacious apartment is ideally situated in a safe area within the city center. It is gated community and you can't access the building without the code or the key. You can walk to many attractions in town, including Lazienki Park, theaters, museums, farmers markets, cafes, restaurants, as well as numerous colleges and universities, including Warsaw University, the Medical University of Warsaw, and Politechnika/University of Technology. This historic, quiet, first floor apartment takes you back in time with high ceilings and original windows looking out onto the greenery of the building's secluded courtyard. With an expansive living room and bedrooms, guests can make themselves comfortable. We provide all bed linens, pillows, and towels for our visitors as well as a brand new, high quality mattress. A huge closet in the bedroom provides extensive storage. A desk in the bedroom provides a quiet corner for work and writing. The apartment is conveniently outfitted with two updated modern bathrooms, one with a large shower and the second with a brand new washer and dryer; shampoo, conditioner, and soap provided (only for short stay). The lovely eat-in kitchen seats 4-5 guests and has modern amenities including a new dishwasher, farmer's sink, and stove with range hood. Coffee machine, microwave, electric teakettle, pots/pans, plates, cutlery, and spices are all included. The foyer has plenty of room for shoes and coats and provides an inviting entryway into the space. Stepping out of the apartment, you are conveniently located close to many grocery stores, bakeries, and wonderful market stands. The apartment is located in the highly desirable, pre-war Stara Ochota neighborhood, which is near the city center and full of beautiful historic buildings like our own. The area is great for strolls and full of cafes, restaurants, and markets to enjoy. Nearby are Warsaw University, Medical School and Warsaw Politechnic - Faculties of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, faculty of Energy and Aviation, etc. We are just a few minutes tram/bus ride from the Palace of Culture and the central business district, as well as 20 minutes from the Old Town. Across the street from our building is the Ochota Theatre, as well as the lovely Ocho restaurant/cafe/bar, a great place to relax indoors or outside on their patio and enjoy some coffee, cocktails, and truly delicious food. Around the corner is our local market, where you can conveniently purchase groceries and fresh vegetables and fruits. The Plac Narutowicza is a 5 minute walk away and has all the shopping that one needs in the city - here you will find bakeries, money exchanges, boutiques, salons, banks, pharmacies, and more. Enjoy fresh ice cream at Limoni or relax with a coffee at Green Cafe Nero. There are multiple bus and tram stops within minutes of our doorstep that will allow you to easily and quickly travel throughout all of Warsaw. Bus 128 will take you all the way to the historic Stary Rynek/Old Town and the bustling nightlife and restaurants of Nowy Swiat. Bus 175 will drop you at the main Warsaw train station, and will also bring you to the Chopin Airport. Trams all depart from the corner of our street, Raszysnka, as well as Plac Narutowicza. You can conveniently get anywhere you need to go. There is paid street parking in front of the building and throughout the neighborhood, and is free on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. You can pay for parking at the parking meter (payment is possible with coins and cards) or using the mobile payment system. Two applications are used for this: MobiParking or moBILET.
