Hello! Having been a middle school teacher for almost 30 years, I am now retired and taking time to travel. We are hoping to find a couple or family looking to stay in Fort Collins for the academic year of '24/'25. We have a wonderful home that we raised 3 boys in, and love Old Town Fort Collins for its access to awesome outdoor adventures, excellent schools, a vibrant downtown with cool local breweries and of course beautiful Colorado State University. One block from our home is The Farm at Martinez Park- a working farm which is perfect for kids, as well as an exceptional playground and access to the Poudre River and extensive well maintained bike trails. Our home is cozy and efficient, with a stellar front porch that we use year round. The backyard is small but great for dinners outside and lounging in the hammock. Adjacent to the property is a small studio with separate entrance and separate fenced yard. Access to the studio will not be included in the house rental. The house was built in 1900 and added to and updated in 2000, providing a nice combination of historic charm and modern convenience. There is ample on street parking. We can include our bikes for your convenience or you can bring your own and store them in the shed.
