We are an academic couple with a lively four-year-old. We mostly work from home, but we also love exploring Glasgow's gastronomic and cultural offers. The design and location of our flat reflect our lifestyle and the current stage in our family life. As we are planning to spend two extended periods away from Glasgow next summer, we are currently looking for tenants for that period. It would be a perfect match for a professional couple or a young family with 1-2 kids who would like to spend some weeks in Glasgow or need a temporary place to stay while looking for a permanent option. The flat is 106 sq.m. It consists of a spacious living room, one double bedroom, a nursery (that could be converted into an older child/adult bedroom), a study room (which also has a pull-out sofa and thus could be used as a bedroom), a kitchen, two walk-in closets, and a bathroom with a tub. It also has two fully equipped working spaces. The flat is located on the 2nd floor of a typical Edwardian 'tenement'. The building doesn't have an elevator, so you will get to exercise a bit. The house has a large common garden (even with squirrels!) that the tenants are welcome to use. Being located in a quiet cul-de-sac, the flat is quiet, but also very sunny. University of Glasgow, Botanics, Kelvingrove park, and numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops are within a 5-15 minutes walk. The city centre could be reached on foot within 30 minutes.
