Luxurious penthouse (1450 ft²) with panoramic views

We stayed in Johann's apartment for a term, and we only wish it could have been longer. It is a marvellous, quiet location on the top floor (there is a lift), with views over Vienna, and the Schoenbrunn gardens can be seen in the distance. Over New Year's there was a spectacular firework display, the whole horizon was lit up. There is a terrace too that in warmer weather would have been great to sit out on. Inside, there is an excellent well-appointed kitchen, a large open area to sit, one bedroom on the lower floor, and another on the upper floor. The bathroom is great, with underfloor heating. Outside, the tram stop is three minutes walk along with the post office and pharmacy and the supermarket. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

My family and I really enjoyed Johann's spacious apartment in Vienna. It was perfectly setup for a comfortable and easy stay with all the amenities one would need. The apartment has great access to public transportation, is close to a beautiful park, a top coffee shop just around the corner, has a rooftop terrace that overlooks the Gloriette and to take in the Vienna skyline. Johann is an excellent host, answered any questions we had, and I would highly recommend his apartment to others!

Johann is an ideal host: thoughtful, responsive, caring, attentive. He sincerely wants you to enjoy his lovely apartment in Vienna and invests energy and time into making it so. He replies promptly to messages and goes far out of his way to be helpful. For example, we needed residency documents for our stay in Vienna. Not only did Johann immediaely complete and return (express mail from the US) the needed documents but he also corrected errors we had made in filling out the form.

The apartment is spacious, stylish, and impeccably clean (thanks to Emina, who is extraordinary). The location is ideal--real Vienna, where people live--that catpures the diversity and energy of the people of Vienna. Note the 57 bus and Auer-Welsbach Park.

My two daughters and I spent almost a whole month at Johann's appartment, and everything was perfect. The apartment is very clean and very pleasant to live in. The terrace is great and the view is wonderful. The communication with Johann is ideal: I have nothing but good things to say about it. I absolutely recommend it.

Johann's Apartment is located in a colourful part of Vienna, close to Schönbrunn and many public transport lines, yet quiet enough to be the perfect home office. It is very spacious and comfortable at any time of the year - the roof terrace and the cute kitchen balcony for good weather, the wood stove for cold times. Fantastic views! And Johann really is a superhost, making sure you have everything you need for your stay. We loved our time there and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We rented Johann's apartment for three months and found it to be a perfect place for an academic couple. His home is very well-maintained, spacious, and quiet. We especially enjoyed the balcony with its gorgeous view. We also loved the neighborhood, including the great farmer's market and coffee shop steps away, and Shönbrunn Palace Park nearby. Johann was a terrific host—always easy to communicate with, friendly, and responsible.
