Description
A large 1 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom canalside apartment for rent in Limehouse, London. Our apartment is located on the Limehouse cut, near to the Limehouse Basin, which is located between the City and Canary Wharf. The nearest transport stops are Limehouse DLR and Westferry DLR. The apartment is in a secure gated development with key fob entry and video doorbell for admitting guests/ deliveries. The bedroom has a queen sized bed (150 cm), a double wardrobe and chest of drawers available for use. The bathroom with a shower/ bath is accessed from the bedroom. There is a 2nd guest wc off of the hallway so guests do not need to go through the bedroom. The open-plan reception room has two sofas, a dining table for 6 people and a small writing desk. We can provide a monitor stand and monitor for the desk if required. There is a small balcony that can be accessed from the living room. It is a bright and airy space due to multiple windows and view over the canal. The kitchen is small and open to the reception room. Appliances included are: a fridge/ freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Also included are a toaster, a one cup water heater, kettle, rice cooker and a food processor. Our apartment is set back off the main road, but it is very close to the DLR line. The DLR is an elevated modern electric train. It is reasonably quiet, but runs from about 5am to midnight every day. We've never had any issues or complaints about the noise from ourselves or tenants, but appreciate that everyone has differing levels of noise sensitivity. We love living close to the river and having easy access to the shops and restaurants at Canary Wharf. There is a Pure gym nearby and there are plenty of off-road runnning and walking routes available along the canals to Victoria Park or the Olympic park, as well as along the river in both directions. Please note that this is our second home and is mostly available for medium term lets from 3-9 months. We will only accept shorter tenancies when we have an awkward gap between tenants.
