Beautiful house in an enchanted garden in Coyoacán

This beautiful house in the old quarter of Coyoacán has been recently built in a neocolonial style and is excelently well mantained. It is part of a little horizontal condominium that consists of four houses that surround a wonderful garden with old trees, beautiful bugambilias and other tropical plants. The area of Coyoacán, in the South of Mexico City, is very appreciated by Mexicans and tourists because of its big houses from the hispanic colonial times, as well as its beautiful squares with old churches and everywhere nice restaurants to sit outside and enjoy. It is also well known because of the old house of Frida Kahlo, as well as other cultural centers, famous bookstores and museums. There are also beautiful popular markets of handcraft and food, but you find also modern as well as organic supermarkets and all sort of shops you need for your everyday life in the quarter. Something very special is also, that it is a very green area, because most of the houses still have big gardens and old trees. Very near is the famous park "Viveros" where the neighbors go walking and jogging. This area is very well communicated with the other parts of the city: two important underground lines (metro) are very near and big streets (Quevedo, Insurgentes, Universidad) with bus lines. But most people use the car, uber or taxis. Many professors that work in the central University City (UNAM), live here in Coyoacán, because it is a very secure and friendly area (where you can feel sure walking), but it is extremely near to C.U. (10 min by car or bike). You enter the little horizontal condominium through a large wooden gate (that opens automaticly and is alarm secured by ADT) and you will find yourself in a green, wonderful garden. Using a comfortable staircase surrounded by plants and trees you access (1st floor) the house. The big living room (with an area with two sofas and a dining area) has a warm ceramic floor and wooden beams under the ceiling and a lot of windows and a balcony looking to the garden, a grapefruit and an ash tree. All the windows of the house are new and well isolated, thanks to their double glasses. Through a wide opening you enter the big kitchen with a beautiful round table and chairs. The working areas of the kitchen were covered with traditional Mexican tyles where the refrigerator, microwave, gas-stove and gasoven have been integrated. In this floor there is also a guest toilet. To the bedrooms you access through a comfortable staircase. The big master´s bedroom has many wooden closets and and own bathroom (with a shower). The other two bedrooms, which are normally used as office and guestroom, share one bathroom with a bathtub. All the bathrooms of the house have also been decorated with traditional Mexican tyles. Using the staircase again you access the beautiful terrace, on top of the house, where big pots with bugambilias and other plants invite to enjoy the warm sun almost all days of the year. The table and chairs, as well as the hamaca will convert this terrace into your favorite place for the weekends and sunsets. Next to the terrace is the room with the washing machine, a bathroom and a little patio to hang and dry clothes. This apartment will be rented with the furniture, that was selected with great care: massive wooden furniture traditionally and locally crafted. Everything is beeing maintained in a very good shape. In the horizontal condominium all the people are single persons or couples that work, so it is a quiet place and permits concentrate working. A concierge/gardener and the landlord/lady (german teacher and professor) live in the community too, so they guarantee for security and the well functioning of everything. Every house has two parking lots, but those tenants living now here, use only one car, so that there is plenty space to park.
